A typical evening’s format is a one hour talk, followed by an hour’s discussion – which generally continues in a nearby pub. Everyone is welcome – we’re a friendly bunch – just turn up on the night.

Members can choose from over 140 different ‘interest’ groups, ranging in categories from Arts & Crafts to Music; Languages to Health; History to Keeping Fit; in a wide variety of ways, as well as many more recreational and academic activities.|
|Volunteer to help local libraries||Volunteering can help you develop your skills, meet new people and contribute to your local community. Swindon Libraries are looking for volunteers to help with the Summer Reading Challenge, library support, library IT, english conversation clubs, children’s storytime and activities and library events.|
